Bernard Ines

Principal

 

Bernard Ines provides over 15 years of residential, commercial, and K-12 educational design, with construction documentation and administration experience. With his engineering & architectural background, Bernard constantly looks at opportunities for efficient cost-effective design and construction management.

Bernard’s projects include a mixed-used building with 102-affordable housing units, a 264-apartment development wrapping around an existing garage with resort style amenities added on the garage’s top floor, a luxury condominium over concrete garage with car lifts all within a ½ acre site, renovation of multiple commercial spaces including banks, assisted living facilities, shopping malls and coffee shops, along with numerous elementary school modernizations.

Bernard is a software architect and a licensed architect. Prior to joining Next Architecture, he was a Senior Associate and Principal at WHA.’s Urban Studio where he focused on mixed-use, affordable housing, and commercial tenant improvements while leading the firm’s commitment to Revit & technology.

When he’s not at work, Bernard is camping with his family. This past summer, he adventured on a 4,000 mile road trip to Zion, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Park with his wife, three young daughters, Subaru, and tent.
